Riding the rising tide, travel up the East side of the Hudson, passing Bannerman’s Castle along the way, toward the entrance of Fishkill Creek. After passing under the railroad trestle, begin to meander through the marsh and alongside the turn-of-the-century mill at Scenic Hudson’s Madam Brett Park. A small waterfall at the park’s Eastern end will be visible. Next, we depart to the quiet shore of Denning’s Point just north of the creek for a snack (not provided) and some relaxation before taking advantage of the current having changed directions for the return home. As one of our longer paddles this tour requires previous kayaking experience.
